SciFi and Fantasy Art: Swamp cottage

The underwear and socks that are hanging outside to dry are too small too fit these creatures. They however have a pet human locked away in the attic of their swamp dwelling :).

Mechanical pencil, A3 sized (I've also uploaded a picture showing some more detail here ., since a lot of it is lost in this small version)

I feel really stupid because I can't find the pet human everyone is talking about. Mind telling me where to look?

:-) Henk Brouwer replies: "It's not in the drawing, just some things hinting at his existence, like the socks that are hanging out to dry, that are clearly to small to fit on the feet of the creatures. (actually I just goofed up by drawing those socks to small, and made up an excuse to get away with it )"

Hey Henk, good to see you got another deserved Mod`s choice.

I still like this picture and put it up as background for my PC at work (I hope you dont mind!).

The pet human can be found like this:
1) Noticew the socks on the line, hanging to dry
2) Notice the creature`s their feet
3) Conclude there MUST be a pet human around

:-) Henk Brouwer replies: "Or that the socks must have shrunken while being washed, that's what you get for using the wrong washing detergent.. But yes, I like the pet-human explanation better 1"

Wow! I'd LOVE to know where, exactly, they got that pet human! Do they go to human stores to buy little accessories? Or is there a store for those kind of pets? Like PetCo? Maybe they sew it by hand? Is it a pet for their kid, like a puppy (do they have a kid)? Heh. Inspiration strikes!

(Lovely piece. I won't really steal it without permission ... just store it away to piece together with something else later ... all gist for the mill...)

:-) Henk Brouwer replies: "The suggestions on how to acquire humans are great, any of those would do 1"

Pet human? Probably the fate of obnoxious tourists who try to ruin their habitat. Maybe.

:-) Henk Brouwer replies: "possibly 1"
